Script Debugger IDE is designed for Windows 2000, Windows XP and higher with Administrator or Debugger Users privileges.
Important requirement for running Script Debugger IDE on your system is having the Active Script Debugging Components (mdm.exe, pdm.dll and msdbg.dll/msdbg2.dll) installed. Although they are free, their license does not allow redistribution, therefore they are not included with Script Debugger IDE. However, they can be found in a number of Microsoft products. Here are some of the products which install Active Script Debugging support:
MS Script Debugger;
IIS (NT4 Option Pack);
PWS (Personal Web Server);
MS Office (Setup Group: Office Tools/HTML Source Editing/Web Scripting);
MS Visual Studio;
Platform SDK;
Remote Components Setup.
